Fiona Maher

Nature provides Fiona with many resources to create and express her Aboriginality and this is her inspiration.

Fiona’s connection to country and sea flows through giving her inspiration to create. From gathering grasses to weave, collecting seeds and shells to string, these materials are there in the landscape for her to use.

Over the years Fiona has done ceramics, textiles, basket weaving and various other media but her art these days just flows from a moment in time.
