JOIN OUR CREATIVES

We are looking to expand our growing collective of artists and in doing so are really excited to announce we are now inviting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, creatives and practitioners living and creating in Tasmania to express interest in joining our collective.

Expressions of Interest are now open and will remain open on revolving basis.

To be considered, artist must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Artist must be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander

  • Artist must be currently living in Tasmania

  • Artists must have an ABN number

  • Artists must have products or works ready for sale

Artist should also consider the following terms of service and sale prior to submitting an Expression of Interest to ensure they’re best fit for the business:

  • Artworks are held on consignment meaning artists are paid for their works upon sale

  • Blackspace Creative takes a 20% commission on all sales processed online or in-person

  • Artist must supply artwork in appropriate packaging or boxing

  • Artist is responsible for the delivery of artworks to Blackspace Creative

  • Artist is responsible for their finances and financial obligations including taxation requirements

Successful applicants will be provided with an induction and contractual agreement which must be agreed to before artworks are collected and uploaded for sale on our website.

All Expressions of Interest must be submitted online by clicking the below button and completing the online form. Please check all of your information is correct (especially your contact details) and make sure images of your artwork are clear. The online form should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete and will not require a great amount of detail.
