Braydon Williams
Braydon Williams is a proud Tasmanian Aboriginal man living on the north-west coast in Burnie with his family.
Braydon has had the privilege of learning cultural dances through his Uncle Craig Everett. Braydon has had many mentors in the community which have passed down knowledge to him.
This year Braydon has been mentored by David Gough. This has seen Braydon take part in the Dawn mapali ceremony as part of Ten Days on the Island and more recently Braydon crafted traditional cultural items for an exhibition by David Gough and Vicki West at the Devonport Regional Gallery.
Braydon has always been proud of his culture and proud of his heritage, being a palawa.
