Teresa Green

Teresa Anne Green grew up on Flinders Island. Her father was proudly Aboriginal as were here paternal grandparents who, as young people were incarcerated on Cape Barren Island.

Teresa was fortunate to be a participant in a program which was to provide experience, knowledge and skills for younger women in stringing these amazing cultural pieces with Senior Elder, Auntie Dulcie Greeno.

That was to be the beginning of her passion to learn as much as she possibly could. Teresa is lucky enough to now be working with her Aunty maikutena Vicki-Laine Green who is teaching and working with her to create these incredibly beautiful expressions of ancient Tasmanian female Aborigines.
